Rumor: Vancl to Enter Furniture E-Commerce Market

Yu Lei, general manager of Hangzhou-based children's furniture manufacturer and retailer Hangzhou Ailun Aini Children's Furniture, recently disclosed that Chinese B2C apparel e-tailer Vancl plans to enter the furniture e-commerce market.

Vancl started as a men's clothing company and in 2009 began to expand its product offerings. The company now sells products in six categories including menswear, women's apparel, kids clothing, accessories, shoes, and home furnishings, such as kitchenware, bath products, linens, and decorative items.
