Rumor: Vancl Plans US IPO in Q4 2011

Reuters, 5/25/11

According to a report from Thompson-Reuters' International Financing Review (IFR), Chinese B2C clothing website Vancl plans to IPO in the US in Q4 2011, with the goal of raising USD 1 bln.

Editor's Note: Perhaps in preparation for its IPO, Vancl launched an English-language version of its website (en.vancl.com) last year. According to that site, Vancl can ship to 79 countries and regions. Products are priced from USD 5 to 50, indicating that Vancl will continue its strategy of offering low-priced goods.
