Warner Bros, You On Demand Sign China VOD Deal

Warner Bros Entertainment today announced that its China joint venture, CAV Warner Home Entertainment, has signed a distribution agreement with You On Demand Media, the China joint venture of US-based pay-per-view (PPV) and video-on-demand (VOD) platform operator You On Demand Holdings (formerly China Broadband) (OTCBB: CBBD) to offer Warner Bros. content in China starting this summer.

You On Demand will operate under a 20-year joint venture with CCTV-6's premium programming channel, China Home Cinema (CHC), and anticipates its service will be available in 3 mln cable TV subscribers' homes in China by the end of this summer.
