Enlight Media Files for Domestic IPO

Chinese TV production company Beijing Enlight Media Co., Ltd. has filed a prospectus with the China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC) for a domestic IPO on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange's ChiNext growth enterprise board. Total revenue for 2010 reached RMB 479.61 mln, up 24.5% YoY from RMB 385.22 mln in 2009.
Net profit attributable to shareholders of the company in 2010 was RMB 112.82 mln, up 79.9% YoY from RMB 62.71 mln.
According to the prospectus, the company has three revenue streams: film and TV drama production, entertainment TV programming and TV advertising, and live entertainment events.
Revenue from entertainment programming and TV advertising reached RMB 273.37 mln, up 18.5% YoY from RMB 230.62 mln in 2009 and accounting for 57% of total revenues.
In 2010, revenue from live entertainment events reached RMB 51.86 mln, down 18.9% YoY from 63.97 mln in 2009, and accounting for 11% of total revenues.
Revenue from TV and film production reached RMB 154.38 mln in 2010, up 70.3% YoY from RMB 90.62 mln in 2009 and accounting for 32.2% of total revenues.
