Foxconn Announces Two Production Facilities in Guangxi

Taiwanese electronics manufacturer Foxconn (2038.HK; 2354.TW) recently announced two new production facilities under construction in Nanning, Guangxi province.
The first facility, which has begun construction, is slated for the manufacturing of products such as smartphones, GPS systems and high-end routers, generating revenues of RMB 30 bln once it reaches full capacity. The second project, construction for which began in January this year, has begun operations of two production lines, and is expected to see sales revenue in 2012 of more than RMB 10 bln.
