CNTV, China Digital Library Partner on IPTV Content

CCTV's national online TV station CNTV has launched its "Digital Culture" section to its IPTV offerings in partnership with China Digital Library Co., Ltd., featuring humanities-related audiovisual content. The section features six programs covering topics such as Chinese literature, travel, and indigenous music.

Zhang Yuxia, assistant to the GM and head of IPTV at CNTV, said the IPTV platform is not only intended for CCTV content but will offer additional content from third-party partners.

In addition to the IPTV platform, "Digital Culture" will also be available on CNTV's internet TV platform, allowing consumers to access content via TVs with CNTV's internet TV client software.
