China's Online Shopping Market to Reach RMB 763 Bln in 2011

China's online shopping (B2C, C2C) market transaction value will reach RMB 763.41 bln in 2011, according to the China E-Commerce Association (CECA) Digital Service Center's 2011 China E-Commerce Industry Research Report.

China's online shopping users will reach 193 mln in 2011, up 30.4% YoY.

An estimated 52.4% of all online shopping orders will be placed by men, while 47.6% will be placed by women. Over 50% of orders are expected to be placed by users between the ages of 19-30, while the 30-40 segment will account for 22.5% of orders.
