Chinese laptop, PC, and handset manufacturer Lenovo (0992.HK) has announced that president and COO Rory Read has left the company to become CEO of global semiconductor manufacturer AMD.
Lenovo has no immediate plans to name a new president or COO. CEO Yang Yuanqing will take over Read's duties for the foreseeable future.
