China Unicom Launches BlackBerry Services to Corporate Users

China Unicom (NYSE: CHU; 0762.HK; 600050.SH) has launched BlackBerry services for corporate users nationwide. Previously, the service had been available only through commercial trials in Beijing, Shanghai, and Guangdong. The unified nationwide billing plans for BlackBerry services are: RMB 60/month for BlackBerry Internet Service (BIS) plans, RMB 98/month for BlackBerry Enterprise Server (BES) plans, and RMB 128/month for BIS+BES plans. Current Unicom 3G subscribers will be able to add BlackBerry services on top of their existing plans at the above prices.
