Former Qihoo Executive Joins Baidu Wireless

Du Yun, former director of strategic cooperation in Chinese online security software developer Qihoo 360's (NYSE: QIHU) mobile application department, confirmed in a recent interview with DoNews that she has joined internet company Baidu (Nasdaq: BIDU). Du said that she now oversees Baidu's wireless operations center in a role that also involves developing partnerships and coordinating resources for development of wireless client products.

Du is former director of Qihoo 360's mobile application division, where she was responsible for marketing and distribution channel expansion, as well as for forming strategic partnerships with Chinese Android application download and community sites such as Apk3.com, Gfan.com and Goapk.com, as well as firm like Motorola Mobility. Prior to Qihoo 360, Du worked in mobile client product management for Motorola China.
