China's Cable DTV Households Reach 135 Mln in August 2011

As of August 2011, cable DTV broadcasting reached 135 mln households in China, according to Beijing-based research firm China Mainland Media Research (CMMR), with penetration reaching 38.4%. Hunan, Guangdong, and Jiangsu alone have a combined 12 mln cable DTV households, accounting for approximately 10% of the total market.
