Giant Establishes Overseas Operations Center

Chinese online game developer and operator Giant Interactive (NYSE: GA) confirmed today that it recently established an overseas operations center aimed at finding operators for its games overseas. The center is currently overseen by Peng Cheng, former product general manager for Shanda Games' (Nasdaq: GAME) Mir series of MMORPG games.

Elsword and Allods Online are the first two Giant Interactive-operated licensed MMORPGs taken over by the overseas operations center, the nearly 100 staff of which work in evaluation, research, analysis and operation of overseas games, as well as monitoring for new products which prove successful on the international market.
