Tencent Invests in CRM IM Platform EC Messenger

Shenzhen-based business-oriented SaaS provider Liudu Renhe Technology, maker of customer resource management (CRM) platform EC Messenger, recently divulged it had obtained an undisclosed amount of funding from internet firm Tencent (0700.HK).

Liudu Renhe CEO Zhang Xingliang said that the two companies will cooperate on technology and marketing, adding that EC Messenger is now available on the QQ.com domain and has been integrated with QQ so that EC users can chat with QQ users directly and save and manage chat histories.

EC Messenger combines a number of communications channels, including 400-prefix telephone hotlines, SMS, fax, and instant messaging, for receiving, storing, managing, and analyzing customer service communications. EC allows corporate users to evaluate ad conversion rates, customer origins and ad effectiveness to optimize advertising investment. EC Messenger currently has over 20,000 users.
