Rumor: Ultrapower to Lose Fetion Revenue Share

An industry source said yesterday that in ongoing Fetion mobile IM operations contract renewal negotiations with Beijing-based IT solutions provider Ultrapower Software (300002.SZ), China Mobile (NYSE: CHL; 0941.HK) proposed abandoning the current revenue share business model in favor of a one-time payment for support services rendered. China Mobile also proposed reducing the length of the contract term from three years to one year.
