Chinese travel services site Qunar today announced that it has added third-party payment processors Alipay, Tenpay, and 99Bill to its online payment options. The third-party payment platforms will hold customer payment in escrow while Qunar verifies that the sales agent's tickets are genuine via technological means, and will hold payment if it detects any problems.
China currently averages 700,000 flight bookings daily, with 200,000 made online. Qunar currently averages 90,000 daily bookings, giving it a 12-15% market share.
