CSDN, AliCloud Partner on Data Security

DoNews, 1/11/12

Following data breaches which recently led to leaks of user account information, online community Chinese Software Developer Network (CSDN.net) has announced a new partnership with Hangzhou-based e-commerce company Alibaba Group's cloud computing subsidiary, Alibaba Cloud Computing ("AliCloud"), aimed at better securing the company's core data and operations.

CSDN chairman Jiang Tao has said that the partnership will lead to the launch of a developer platform fortified with AliCloud security infrastructure. The new platform will provide developers with three types of service: basic services such as e-mail; specialized services such as code hosting, cloud testing and open APIs; and app market services.
