Chinese online security software developer Qihoo 360 (NYSE: QIHU) recently signed an agreement with internet company Sina's (Nasdaq: SINA) Weibo microblogging platform to build a new platform to integrate accounts between the two services, allowing Sina Weibo users access to all Qihoo 360 products and Qihoo 360 users to sign in to Sina Weibo using just one account.
An industry source has revealed that the State Administration of Radio, Film and Television's (SARFT) direct broadcast satellite (DBS) center will oversee the free exchange of the first round of set-top boxes (STBs) issued in the "Cuncuntong" rural DBS connectivity program for new encryption-capable STBs.
