Chinese online social networking service Kaixin001 and internet giant Tencent (0700.HK) have enabled account interoperability, allowing Kaixin001 users to log in with their QQ credentials and cross-post content on Kaixin001, Tencent Microblog, and Tencent SNS Qzone.
Kaixin001 VP Guo Wei said cross-platform account interoperability was the second step in integrating the two companies' platforms following the integration of their respective social app open platforms, and the companies will next try to integrate their online advertising operations.
According to a manager in Kaixin001's platform department, dedicated QQ account login fields have been added to Kaixin001's homepage, log-in page, group buy log-in page, and mini-game log-in page. To date, users average 2 shared items and 1 post cross-posted to Qzone and Tencent Microblog, the average daily number of users logging in with QQ credentials is growing 2% each day, and the number of users binding their Kaixin001 and QQ accounts is growing an average of 9% daily.
