Chinese consumer electronics manufacturer Changhong (600839.SH) announced more than 30 new televisions, tablet computers, smart media centers, and smartphones featuring the Android-based Ciri voice recognition system in Beijing recently, including the Changhong A2000, A3000, A7000, and A9000. Ciri voice recognition will allow TV owners to change channels, look up program information, browse and search the internet, and input text using voice commands. Ciri can also respond to voice prompts with synthesized speech.
