Shanghai Morning Post, 4/17/12
A Shanghai Morning Post reporter today tested Hangzhou's B1 express bus line with China Mobile (NYSE: CHL; 0941.HK) TD-LTE-powered Wi-Fi services for about 70 minutes. The reporter claimed that the signal was not disrupted once and that streaming video quality was quite good. However, the connection was a bit slow even though the maximum download speed was supposed to be 460 Kbps, the actual rate was more in the range of 30 to 300 Kbps, very different from the multi-Mbps download speed claimed in China Mobile tests.
