China Telecom Establishes iPhone Support Center in Shanghai

China Telecom (NYSE: CHA; 0728.HK) has established an iPhone technical support center in Shanghai specifically for providing remote technical services for the CDMA version of the iPhone4S. The center will be operated entirely by China Telecom. After beginning preparations for the construction in H2 2011, the support center received Apple's inspection certification in Q1 2012. Initially, the support center will act as a call center, but will add a service hall for on-site support in the future.
