Intel Capital to Invest in ZZNode

Intel Capital today announced plans to invest in Beijing-based telecom and IT operations management software and solutions provider Beijing ZZNode Technology, and reported that it has also signed a cooperation agreement with the company. Richard Hsu, managing director of Intel Capital, China, reported that this would be an eight-digit investment, but did not disclose the specific amount of funding. Intel Capital becomes a shareholder of the company through the investment, and will provide ZZNode with financial and technical support. Additionally, the two parties will cooperate in the realm of cloud computing. ZZNode is a provider of telecom and IT operations management software products and solutions, and the company's cooperation with Intel marks the expansion of its business into the field of domestic public and private cloud Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS).
