China Mobile to Launch TD-LTE Consumer Trials in 3 Cities

China Mobile (NYSE: CHL; 0941.HK) has recently begun TD-LTE module procurement for the company's upcoming multi-mode, multi-band TD-LTE consumer trials. The trials will be divided into two parts, with a first round of TD-LTE testing for preferred China Mobile customers talking place in Hangzhou, Guangzhou and Shenzhen. The second round of TD-LTE testing will take place between December 2012 and April 2013 in an additional ten cities.
