Ex-Kingsoft Games President Founds Browser Gaming Company

According to a knowledgeable source, Wu Yimin, the former President of Chinese online game developer and operator Kingsoft's (3888.HK) gaming unit, has founded a browser gaming company, Dawa Digital Technology. The company has released its first browser game, the Three Kingdoms-themed browser game Kele Sanguo.

Wu was formerly responsible for first person shooter (FPS) Cross Fire at Tencent (0700.HK), and subsequently joined online game developer and operator Shanda Games (Nasdaq: GAME) in May of 2009 as the GM of gaming systems. Wu joined Kingsoft in January 2010 as president of Kingsoft's gaming unit.
