Ce.cn, 11/08/12

According to a recent e-mail from Tencent's (0700.HK) mobile internet business group to mobile game developers, Tencent's Mobile QQ Game platform will lower channel costs, increasing revenue split rates for channel partners by four to six percentage points, starting with the October 2012 billing period. The e-mail said that smartphone game developers will split revenues 50/50 with the Mobile QQ Game platform, while non-smartphone developers will receive revenue splits according to a tiered system.

Tencent launched its integrated Mobile QQ Game platform in May 2012. The platform currently has more than 220 mln users, with 10 mln user logins per day, and PCU counts of 1.15 mln users.
