iQiyi Launches HTML 5 Mobile Site

Chinese internet company Baidu's (Nasdaq: BIDU) online video joint venture, iQiyi, recently launched a new HTML5-powered web app video client (m.iqiyi.com). Users do not need to install any software and can directly watch videos on their mobile browser.

The new mobile web app's interface design and content display is adapted for mobile browsers and does not require users to install Flash.

"The new mobile browser app is easier to use and more accessible to users," according to iQiyi VP Yang Xianghua.
