Rumor: Qihoo 360, Nokia to Launch Smartphone

Chinese online security software developer Qihoo 360 (NYSE: QIHU) and Finnish handset maker Nokia plan to develop a custom-branded handset, according to an industry insider. Both companies' official microblogs have hinted that development is already underway. A "mystery phone" has also appeared in Qihoo 360's self-branded handset online store, but no details regarding brand, specifications, or price are available. Industry sources suspect the phone may be the Nokia Lumia 620 and will be launched during the Christmas holiday season.

Qihoo 360 has previously released self-branded handsets in partnership with Alcatel, Haier, and Amoi Technology.
