Microsoft to Invest RMB 300 Mln in Wuxi Technical Support Center

Microsoft's Asia-Pacific Global Technical Support Center recently signed an agreement with the municipal government of Wuxi to invest RMB 300 mln over the next three years in the city's cloud computing, smart city, and software sectors, and to build a center to provide support services for customers and partners in mainland China. A Microsoft representative said the center will begin operations in June 2013 and will reach a headcount of over 600 within 3-5 years. Microsoft will also release a social networking site aimed at mainland China users.
