Motorola Mobility Closes Android App Store in China

Motorola Mobility has closed its "Shop4Apps" Android app store in China. Apps hosted in the China Shop4Apps store will be handed over to Beijing-based app store operator Ou Le Bar Technology's Crossmo app store. The Shop4Apps Android app store was launched in China in 2010 through a partnership with Ou Le Bar Technology.

The Crossmo app store has posted a notice on its official home page welcoming Motorola partner app developers to the platform. The posting also notes the company's three-year partnership with Motorola and wish to continue working with the company.
