Sichuan DTV Conversion Project Obtains RMB 3 Bln Financing

The Sichuan branch of China Development Bank (CDB) has extended a RMB 3 bln line of credit for first-stage comprehensive information network technology upgrades and construction to Sichuan Cable Television Network in Chengdu to support the province's digital and bi-directional conversion efforts. The project's total value is RMB 4 bln, and Sichuan is expected to complete DTV conversion work before the end of 2015, when it will cease analog TV broadcasting.
