Beijing Mobile Starts Recruiting 4G Trial Users

China Mobile's (NYSE: CHL; 0941.HK) Beijing branch has begun recruiting 4G trial users for the operator's TD-LTE network. Eligible China Mobile subscribers must have held a China Mobile subscription for a least one year and maintained average monthly payments of RMB 50 and have used over 50MB of mobile data each month for the past three months. In addition, eligible users may not have a history of any late payments. After submitting a RMB 500 deposit, qualifying users will receive a 4G-enabled MiFi terminal as well as a USIM card with 15GB of monthly 4G access for free. The 4G trial will last for six months, during which users must submit surveys based on their experience twice a month.
