Rumor: Suning to Acquire PPTV for USD 400 Mln

An investment bank source has revealed that negotiations are nearing conclusion between Chinese consumer electronics and home appliances retailer Suning (002024.SZ) and P2P streaming video platform PPLive (PPTV). According to the source, Suning will purchase PPTV for approximately USD 400 mln.

Neither party has commented on the rumor.
