Sohu IT, 11/26/13
An insider at Chinese internet services and security software provider Qihoo 360 (NYSE: QIHU) has confirmed that the company plans to split its mobile gaming business from its "360 Mobile Assistant" mobile download platform business. Chen Jie, former VP in charge of 360 Mobile Assistant at Qihoo, will oversee the new mobile gaming business division while also managing the company's browser business. Non-game related 360 Mobile Assistant businesses will be overseen by a manager hired internally.
A source at Qihoo 360 has stated that revenue from the company's mobile gaming business has now exceeded that of its browser games.
