Chinese Overseas Travel Site Lailaihui Lands USD 7-Digit Funding

Beijing Lailaiwang Network Technology, operator of Chinese overseas travel site Lailaihui.com, has announced that the company has landed a new, USD 7-digit round of funding led by CDH Investments, with participation from Unity Ventures. Kang Le, founder of Lailaihui.com, has stated that the funds will be used for construction of a call center, development of backend equipment, and expansion of product categories and coverage.

Lailaihui.com was launched on September 11, 2013, and provides flash sales of overseas travel packages to Chinese customers. According to Kang, the site's monthly transaction volume has reached RMB 10 mln.
