7K7K to Invest RMB 200 Mln in Mobile Gaming

Beijing Qike Chuangxiang Information Technology, operator of Chinese flash mini-game portal 7K7K, recently announced that the company will establish a mobile game development company, investing RMB 200 mln to further expand the reach of its mobile gaming business. The funds will be used for game development and operation.

Since releasing its first mobile game in August 2013, 7K7K has assembled an approximately 100-person mobile gaming team. 7K7K plans to license 5 to 10 mobile games in 2014.

7K7K will also invest in mobile gaming startups. At present, the company has reached three such agreements.
