Former eLong Employee Launches Overseas Travel Website

Beijing-based Yangjing Technology launched the company's overseas travel site today, Haiwan.cn, which boasts products from over 1,200 overseas travel service providers from around the world, offering discounted travel products and services to Chinese travelers headed overseas. The company was founded by Sun Runhua, a former product manager at Chinese online travel service provider eLong (Nasdaq: LONG).

According to Sun, Haiwan.cn provides two major services: direct sales of local travel deals, and flash sales of discounted flight and hotel packages.

Local travel deals include discounts at restaurants and bars, coupons, and tickets to landmarks and other attractions at popular overseas tourist locations, while flash sales include time-sensitive discounted travel packages.
