Weibo to Integrate Interactive Video Entertainment Service 'Yi Zhibo'

Beijing-based Fenxiang Yixia Technology, operator of mobile interactive video entertainment app Yi Zhibo, will integrate its service into Chinese microblogging platform Weibo (Nasdaq: WB), a subsidiary of Sina (Nasdaq: SINA), on May 13. Users in the future will have the option of downloading the Yi Zhibo app or accessing the product directly through Weibo. Access links for Yi Zhibo will also be added to Sina's mobile short video recording and sharing app Miaopai and mobile video dubbing and sharing app Xiaokaxiu.com.

In November 2015, Fenxiang Yixia's Beijing-based parent company Xuan Yixia Technology completed USD 200 mln Series D funding led by Sina. Xuan Yixia Technology's products include Miaopai (now operated by Sina) and Xiaokaxiu.com.
