B2B Wine E-commerce Platform 'E Jiupi' Wins USD 100 Mln Series C

Beijing-based Yi Jiuping E-Commerce, operator of online and mobile wine B2B e-commerce platform E Jiupi, recently announced completion of USD 100 mln Series C funding led by Greenwoods Asset Management and with participation from Source Code Capital, Light House Capital, group buy and O2O services provider Meituan-Dianping, and HG Capital.

E Jiupi said that its business currently covers 72 cities in 25 provinces throughout China. It operates 600 vehicles to serve more than 200,000 businesses, and sales revenues may reach RMB 5 bln in 2016. Monthly sales have reached RMB 600,000.

Wang Chaocheng, CEO of Yi Jiuping, said that the company's bulk sales business has a profit margin of approximately 4%, while the profit margin for products from its self-operated wineries is approximately 30%.
