Beijing-based virtual reality education content developer GrowLib recently revealed that the company has received RMB 8-digit pre-Series A funding led by Zhonglu Investment Centre, with participation from Youget Capital and Fenyi Capital.
GrowLib currently has three main business lines: a series of products for K-12, customized solutions for vocational schools, and experience-based products for various settings (for example, libraries or aquariums). The K-12 line is the company's core business.
GrowLib's business involves pushing content to schools, and offers the content as a product on private cloud servers for school campuses. The company also provides tablet computers and management systems to control the content. GrowLib integrates these platforms and services into one solutions package.
GrowLib currently uses VR all-in-one devices from Baofeng Mojing and Lexiang Technology (DeePoon). It has developed over 100 pieces of courseware with content covering the full K-12 range.
