Machinery Parts E-commerce Platform 'Machine Home' Raises RMB 8-digit Pre-A

Hunan-based Jixie Zhijia Information Technology, operator of machinery e-commerce platform Machine Home, has won RMB 8-digit pre-Series A funding led by Plum Ventures and with participation from Huaying Investment and Lingyi Investment. The funding will be used to expand the construction of Machine Home's parts data system and improve offline storage and logistics services.

Machine Home is a B2B procurement platform for construction machinery spare parts operated through an official account on Tencent's (0700.HK) WeChat mobile messaging app. The platform integrates upstream and downstream resources to provide data services to users and improve trading efficiency.

Machine Home also operates a number of independent media platforms focused on construction machinery, which have aggregated more than 200 mln views and shares.

Jixie Zhijia Information Technology, founded in January 2015, previously won RMB 7-digit angel funding from Kaiwu Xiangtai Investment Management in December 2016.
