AutoNavi, Lepu Cooperate on Big Data Analysis for Real Estate Buyers

Tencent Tech, 8/02/17

Chinese digital map provider AutoNavi, a subsidiary of e-commerce conglomerate Alibaba Group (NYSE: BABA), and Lepu Network Technology, operator of online service platform for commercial real estate Lepu.cn, have announced the formation of a strategic partnership. Lepu will use the location big data analysis product "Gaode Weizhi" from AutoNavi's open mapping platform to help companies and individuals make informed real estate decisions.

Gaode Weizhi includes two modules for consumer crowd analysis and periphery analysis, which reflect the changes in foot traffic and popularity for a given area over time. Comparisons to historical traffic can help companies identify potential customers. Gaode Weizhi also includes features for analysis of comparable items, summary of a district's industrial status, and commercial site selection.

Gaode Weizhi is an upgraded version of AutoNavi's previous big data analysis tool "Gaode Index."
