Caocao Zhuanche, 8/14/17

Hangzhou-based Youxing Technology, operator of mobile electric car hire service app Caocao Zhuanche, has denied rumors in Chinese news media that the company won RMB 1.5 bln in Series A funding.

Caocao Zhuanche issued a statement explaining that several domestic and foreign investors have taken an interest in the company's development, and have been in contact for more details. The company is currently evaluating investment terms and has not decided on an investor or amount.

Editor's Note: Caocao Zhuanche, founded in May 2015, is an Uber-like electric car hire app, said a customer service representative in a telephone call with Marbridge today (August 14). Users can input their destination to book an electric car, and can also reserve cars for half- or full-day use.
