Smart Hospital Solutions Provider Haici Obtains RMB 100 Mln Series B

Guangzhou-based smart hospital solutions provider Haici Network Technology recently announced completion of RMB 100 mln in Series B funding led by SIG China Investment, with participation by other investors including Eight Roads Ventures. Following the funding round, Haici plans to accelerate its business development in areas including hierarchical diagnosis & treatment systems and commercial insurance.
Haici, established in May 2014, has developed a set of mobile smart hospital systems to provide appointment booking, hospital visit, pharmaceutical pick-up, and rehabilitation services under a Software as a Service (SaaS) model.
Haici operates through Tencent's (0700.HK) WeChat mobile messaging app and Chinese third-party payment processor Alipay. Its systems are integrated with hospitals' internal data systems to offer services through official hospital channels, including both online accounts and offline service windows.
In addition, Haici is also exploring solutions in areas including installment payment services for medical treatments, drug delivery, and remote treatment.
Haici currently serves more than 300 hospitals.
