Beijing-based Kangzhi Lesi Network Technology, operator of menstrual cycle and pregnancy management app Dayima, has now reached profitability, said CEO Chai Ke. He also revealed that 2017 revenue is expected to reach RMB 215 mln.
The platform will also modify one character of its Chinese name, changing the "ma" character from one that denotes a question to one that means "mother." The name change is meant to better distinguish the platform in search results, and the company said that it has already secured a copyright for the new name.
Chai also revealed that Dayima plans to list on Shenzhen's ChiNext Growth Enterprise Market in 2019-2020.
The Dayima app currently has 120 mln registered users and over 55 mln monthly active users, said Chai. Meanwhile, Dayima is also slowly expanding its services from menstrual cycle management to the areas of community, e-commerce, and finance.
