Lenovo Group (0992.HK) CTO He Zhiqiang has announced that the first dual-mode IdeaPad U1 notebook will reach the market by the end of the year.
Lenovo unveiled the IdeaPad U1, which features a detachable tablet display, at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas earlier this month. The base and display each have a consumer ultra-low voltage (CULV) processor. The tablet contains a Qualcomm SnapDragon chipset and a 16 GB solid state hard drive running a custom version of Skylight Linux.
