Sina Tech, 3/29/10

Australian telecom operator Telstra reportedly plans to bid USD 200 mln to acquire Chinese mobile advertising service provider Lmobile, formerly Focus Wireless, over the course of three years, subject to a valuation adjustment mechanism (VAM). Telstra has valued Lmobile at approximately fifteen times its annual revenues, and the two parties will hold a press conference in the next several days. A source within Lmobile confirmed that Telstra is in negotiations to purchase Lmobile, but that neither the price nor method of purchase has been set.
