Group Collaboration Tool Teambition Lands Series Pre-A Funding

Shanghai-based Huiyi Information Technology, developer of group collaboration and project management software Teambition, announced recently that it received a RMB 7-figure sum in Pre-Series A funding from Gobi Partners in March 2013. Teambition previously received RMB 2.5 mln from an angel investor in 2011.
Teambition is divided into three features: a "status wall," a task board, and document storage. The status wall aggregates status information from different aspects of the project, helping team members better keep track of project progress and encouraging team members to discuss and exchange ideas online in realtime. The task board view features list view and card-based "stage view" modes, the latter of which resembles Trello's task board view. Teambition's document storage feature allows team members to easily organize and share document resources.
