Baidu Mobile Browser Users Surpass 100 Mln

Chinese internet company Baidu (Nasdaq: BIDU) announced at the company's Baidu World annual conference in Beijing yesterday that cumulative users of Baidu's mobile browser client have exceeded 100 mln. Baidu will release version 4.0 of its mobile browser app at the end of August.

Baidu's mobile browser app joins Baidu's mobile in-browser search engine, Baidu's search engine mobile app, the Baidu Maps mobile app, and photo editing mobile app Baidu Motu as the company's fifth mobile service to surpass the 100 mln user mark.

According to Baidu data, daily active Android users in China, defined as users who Android users who access mobile data services on a daily basis, reached 240 mln at the end of Q2 2013.
