Qihoo 360 Raises Search Market Share Target to 25%

Yu Guangdong, Search Business VP for Chinese internet services and security software provider Qihoo 360 (NYSE: QIHU), revealed in a recent interview that the company reached its 2013 search market share target of 20% in October, based on data released by Alibaba Group's third-party web analytics subsidiary CNZZ. Qihoo's peak market share reached as high as 22.85% during the month. Qihoo has now increased its 2013 year-end market share target to 25%.

In early 2013, Qi Xiangdong, President of Qihoo, announced the company's three search market share targets of 20% in 2013, 30% in 2014, and 40% in 2015.

Yu also revealed that the company will soon release a new edition of its mobile search product, as well as a Qihoo search mobile app.
