Rumor: Changyou Plans Layoffs for Client Gaming Staff

According to a gaming industry source, Chinese online game developer and operator Changyou (Nasdaq: CYOU), a subsidiary of internet company Sohu (Nasdaq: SOHU), plans to transfer or lay off nearly 120 employees in its client-based gaming department. Affected employees will either be transferred to Changyou's mobile gaming team or be terminated. Changyou has not yet commented on the rumors.
